Dr. Jack Lipkin is a
prosthodontist – an advanced dental specialist who diagnoses, plans treatment, rehabilitates and maintains the function of the teeth, jaw and mouth, for the comfort, appearance, and health of patients with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues.
Each patient begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment - a critical first step in successful prosthodontic therapy.
After examining teeth, gum and bone health, Dr. Lipkin assesses each patient for:
- masticatory efficiency (the ability to chew food),
- occlusion (bite relationships),
- TMD (Temporomandibular Joint Disorder),
- oral cancer through a soft tissue exam, and
- patients’ aesthetic concerns.
